Zeus 18 mos ADOPTED

Zeus 18 mos ADOPTED

Here is a young fella that is strong, beautiful, amazing…with a small issue that GRRR will take care of for him…he’s ready for a wonderful home to match his wonderful personality!

Zeus was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and needs two total hip replacements. His surgery will be paid for by GRRR’s Golden Angel Fund*. He needs a loving new home with folks who have the time and loving care to get him through the recovery of the surgery.

It takes a very special person(s) to fall in love with a golden knowing they are in need of so much care. Hopefully, you are reading this and feel you have much to give to a very young golden boy who only needs to recover from that surgery and he will be well on his way to full health and a chance to show to his new family all his appreciation!

The GRRR vet recommends waiting to do his surgery when he is a bit older. His hips are not causing him pain and since he is so young and active at 18 months he thinks it would be best to wait a year or two.

Very affectionate young boy!

Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies (GRRR) is dedicated to the rescue, placement and public awareness to ensure that Golden Retrievers are adopted by people able to provide a safe, loving home.

Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies is a mostly volunteer non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that helps place unwanted, abandoned or surrendered Golden Retrievers into loving forever homes. GRRR was founded in 1996 by Laura Terroux and has experienced continued organizational growth while working toward the goal of caring for our breed. GRRR re-homes approximately 300 Golden Retrievers annually.
